THE COMPANY
Founded in 1976.
The Spanish metalworking company Calderería Gurelan is celebrating 50 years of history in northern Spain in 2026. Based in Azkoitia in the Basque Country, near the border with France, it has covered facilities of 7,000 m2.
We began by specialising in production of structures for the press sector, with our main markets being Germany, the USA, Spain, Denmark, Switzerland and the UK, among other countries. We have also been working over recent years in other sectors, such as automotive, recycling, aeronautics, cranes, offshore and defence, among many others, on medium-sized, large and very large parts.
We specialise in delivering comprehensive turnkey products: materials, construction and welding, heat treatment, machining, assembly and painting.
Calderería Gurelan has a production capacity of approximately 12,000 tonnes per year. We have internal stabilising heat treatment processes, with a furnace of 12,000 x 6,500 x 4,500 mm and machining of structures with a Soraluce FR milling machine with 12,000 mm longitudinal and 4,500 mm vertical travel, with capacity for weights up to 80 tonnes.
Our greatest virtue over all this time has been our full dedication to our clients. They rightly represent one of our main assets. With them, and through collaborations that began with a project and then developed into years-long relationships, we have been learning, improving and overcoming innumerable obstacles along the way to make us a leading company in our sector internationally.

We continuously review our procedures and update them to incorporate preventive measures, specialised training and control systems that bolster risk prevention in all our work.
